Our Health Plans for Small & Large Groups

HMO vs. PPO Plans

With a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan, members are required to see in-network or participating providers. We have a statewide network of providers and hospitals for our members to use.

A Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan means that you are allowed to see any provider you choose. If you choose to visit an in-network or participating provider, your expenses—such as copays, deductibles, and coinsurance—will be lower than your expenses if you were to visit an out-of-network or non-participating provider.
